About the team The Chief Procurement Office (CPO) supports the City of Gold Coast with sourcing, procurement, and contract management services across a diverse range of business areas. The ICT Contract Management team oversees executed ICT contracts, ensuring value for money, compliance, and strong stakeholder and supplier relationships to deliver outcomes aligned with the City’s Corporate and Operational Plans. This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic individual to also contribute to the CPO transformation program, driving significant change in our operations, based on the Queensland Government Contract Management Framework. About your new role As the Coordinator ICT Contract Management, you will lead a team of professionals responsible for ICT contracts management through to contract closure. You will play a critical role in contract performance, minimising risk, strengthening partnerships, and driving continuous improvement. You will also: • Lead and motivate staff to deliver effective ICT contract management services. • Provide strategic and tactical leadership across the ICT contract management function. • Strengthen supplier and stakeholder partnerships to achieve value-for-money outcomes. • Reduce contractual risks in line with audit, policy, and legislative requirements. • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, policies, and standards. We're looking for people who have: To succeed in this role, you will have significant experience in procurement and/or contract management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to foster collaborative relationships. You’ll also need: • Knowledge of ICT contracting frameworks (QITC desirable). • Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills. • Proven ability to manage people and deliver results in a complex environment. • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills with a focus on reducing risk and improving outcomes.
