THE ROLE As a key part of the maintenance and operations team, you’ll be responsible for both planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown support across automated production lines. You’ll work closely with production crews, supporting machine uptime and reliability across high-speed machinery. This role requires a hands-on, urgency-driven mindset and a commitment to getting the job done right the first time. This role will include: Preventative and breakdown maintenance on automated production equipment to minimise downtime Working closely with conveyors, gearboxes, sensors, and other high-speed systems Diagnosis and repair of faults in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including performing root cause analysis Assisting with machine setups, changeovers, and adjustments when needed ABOUT YOU With prior experience as a Maintenance Fitter (ideally coming from a manufacturing background), you will be diligent, detailed orientated with strong focus on safety. You will also understand the overarching impact that shutdowns / downtime will have on the overall process and business. You will also need: Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in fitting and machine operation Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment Demonstrable experience with / exposure to JSEA’s and Permits Proactive, solutions-focused approach with a strong sense of urgency Demonstrable experience with hydraulics and pneumatics is ESSENTIAL Forklift license and EWP are ESSENTIAL REWARDS AND BENEFITS You will be rewarded with an attractive salary package including Base Super plus the opportunity to join a global organisation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
