As the Senior Landscape Architect, you will: - Support and guide the design of visitor facility and management infrastructure projects, and provide input to associated operational policies, guidelines and procedures.- Undertake review of drawings and specifications for technical adequacy, monitor progress, identify issues and develop systems, procedures and standards to support the design and delivery of parks infrastructure in protected area and marine parks.- Contribute to the preparation of correspondence, reports, submissions and briefing papers to accurately inform decision-making.- Establish and maintain positive relationships and consultative processes with internal and external stakeholders including members of the community, Indigenous peoples, special interest groups, other government agencies (local, state and federal) and industries relevant to effective asset management on the protected area estate.- Assist the Manager to represent QPWS&P in industry forums, interdepartmental and other committees.- Foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations peoples of Australia.
