An exciting opportunity currently exists for a dynamic and experienced Executive Assistant to support the Principal of a local Christian College. The position will provide extensive variety within a challenging environment. Applicants for this this role must have an understanding of the philosophy of Christian education practiced in the school. About the Role: This is a full-time, permanent position requiring someone who can handle a dynamic workload with discretion, initiative, and professionalism. You will be the right hand of the Principal, managing calendars, correspondence, events, and communications with parents, staff, and external stakeholders. The role will encompass all areas of administration for the Principal including: Organisation of the Calendar and Travel Arrangements Preparation of Meeting Agenda and Minutes Handle all incoming and outgoing correspondence Use of various technology to enhance Principal’s communication Policy and Procedure writing and coordination Secretarial support including document preparation, reporting, presentations, drafting outgoing correspondence and all incoming correspondence Liaising with media outlets to advertise and promote school events and functions Effective management of all incoming telephone enquiries and requests on behalf of the Principal Any other tasks as requested by the Principal The ideal candidate must have previous experience in a Personal or Executive Assistant role and possess the following skills: Strong computer skills, including advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Exceptional phone manner and communication skills Ability to work independently, handle interruptions, and meet deadlines Commitment to the philosophy of Christian education Strong attention to detail, flexibility, and initiative This is an excellent opportunity to work in a values-driven, professional, and supportive environment.
