APRA AMCOS is a member-owned music rights management organisation, positioned at the intersection of music, data and technology. We have more than 124,000 members who are songwriters, composers and music publishers. We license organisations to play, perform, copy or record our members’ music, and we distribute the royalties to our members. We invite applications for the position of Account Representative within the Licensing Operations team at our Sydney office. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity reporting directly to the Manager, Business Partners. As the Account Representative, you will be responsible for cultivating strong customer relationships across sectors such as Cinema and Airlines. Your key duties will include ensuring compliance with customer reporting obligations and utilising reported data to produce accurate invoices, thereby facilitating royalty payments to APRA AMCOS members and affiliates. The role is based in our Ultimo office, which is on Gadigal land. As an Account Representative, your responsibilities will include: Collect and compile financial reporting from managed account customers. Manage the invoicing process, including the creation and distribution of documents. Ensure timely and accurate debt recovery for all invoices. Maintain and update financial records and databases. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. Collaborate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoicing and reporting. Provide support during audits and financial reviews. To thrive in this role, you'll need: Proven experience in financial reporting, invoicing, or a similar role. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
