Key duties and responsibilities Administering Microsoft 365 Defender (Advanced Threat Protection) Manage and configure Microsoft 365 Defender to protect against advanced threats. Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents. Deploying Infrastructure as Code using Azure Bicep Develop and maintain infrastructure as code scripts using Azure Bicep. Automate deployment processes and ensure consistency across environments. Administering Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops or Updating Citrix/VMWare VDI Images Manage and update Citrix virtual apps and desktops. Maintain and update VDI images for Citrix and VMWare environments. Automating IT and System Tasks with PowerShell Create and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine IT tasks. Enhance system efficiency through automation. Docker Container Administration and Deployments Manage Docker containers and orchestrate deployments. Ensure the stability and performance of containerized applications. Implementing PSPF Information Security Manual (ISM) Security Controls or NIST Equivalent Integrate ISM or NIST security controls into system builds. Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices. SQL Server Administration Manage and maintain SQL Server databases. Perform routine database backups, restores, and performance tuning. Administering Dynamics 365 (On-premise and Cloud) Manage and configure Dynamics 365 environments. Support both on-premise and cloud-based Dynamics 365 (Microsoft PowerApps). Administering SharePoint (Online and on-premise) Manage SharePoint environments, both online and on-premise. Ensure proper configuration, maintenance, and user support. Using Jira by Atlassian Utilize Jira for project management and issue tracking. Collaborate with team members to manage tasks and workflows. Technical experience; Experience supporting Windows Server and desktop environments. Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (previously SCCM or Intune) developing and managing Windows operating systems using either on-premises or cloud instances. Experience application packaging of desktop/server software. Experience documenting build processes and user/administrator operating procedures. Experience supporting and implementing Microsoft infrastructure roles and services including but not limited to DHCP, Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy. Experience in Windows and application patch management Experience in administering Office 365 & Azure tenancies Experience using or managing VMWare infrastructure Desirable criteria 1. Desired experience; 1. Experience in administering or implementing Microsoft 365 Defender (also known as Advanced Threat Protection) 2. Knowledge of deploying infrastructure as code using Azure Bicep 3. Experience administering Citrix virtual apps & desktops or updating Citrix or VMWare VDI images 4.
