Reporting directly to the Credit Manager, you will play an integral role in ensuring that lending decisions are in line with the bank’s policies and risk management frameworks. In this role, you will engage frequently with the sales team and third-party introducers to assess loan scenarios, providing clarity on lending decisions. Your ability to communicate complex credit decisions effectively and efficiently will be crucial. What you’ll bring to the table Effective Communication - Confidently liaise with Brokers and the Sales Team to ensure credit decisions are clearly articulated and understood. Commercial Mindset - Demonstrate a deal making attitude, balancing risk with the opportunity to support business growth. Persuasive Decision Delivery - Skilled in presenting and selling application outcomes in a constructive and professional manner, maintaining strong relationships and trust. Here's what we're looking for: Experience : Minimum of 2 years' experience in a lending role within the financial services sector, with a strong understanding of credit analysis and lending practices. Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams, working cohesively with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve shared goals. Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset, able to assess complex financial scenarios and make well-informed decisions. As well as having great decision-making skills, you’ll possess a keen ability to balance risk and reward while maintaining a client-focused approach. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clarity in decision communication with stakeholders such as Introducers, BDMs, and team members. Resilience and the ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines, and thrive under pressure while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in finance is preferred, demonstrating a solid foundation in financial principles and practices. Ready to take the next step?
