Hatchery Technician, Full Time We are seeking a motivated and reliable Hatchery Technician to join our team. This role plays a vital part in supporting hatchery operations and ensuring the welfare of our fish stock is maintained to the highest standard. What you will be doing? Work independently and collaborative within a team environment Complete daily routine tasks efficiently and to a high standard Maintain accurate records and complete daily checklists and paperwork Communicate effectively with management and team members Fish feeding Cleaning tanks Mort collection Flushing systems Monitoring water quality and completing associated documentation Uphold workplace health and safety What you will bring Experience or an interest in fin fish husbandry Wader training (or willingness to obtain) Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain) Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to continuous improvement Commitment to safety, wellbeing and ongoing learning Why Huon At Huon, we are passionate about sustainable aquaculture and the wellbeing of our people.
