We are seeking two highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst's to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in understanding business needs, managing the backlog, and delivering business analysis artefacts to support IT solution delivery. This role is ideal for someone with experience in Health Insurance or financial services and familiarity with Private Health Insurance (PHI) products and processes. Responsibilities: Manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced and ever-changing business environment. Develop a strong understanding of business needs and strategic objectives to enable the creation of high-quality business analysis deliverables. Accountable for the creation of business and technical analysis artefacts such as requirements, functional specifications, application/process workflows, use cases, screen mock-ups, user stories, integration mapping, and technical impact assessments. Provide information to others regarding the business analysis artefacts to support IT solution design, development, testing, and implementation activities. Work closely with business subject matter experts to gain a clear understanding of current and future processes, business needs, and application-related issues, while identifying data discrepancies that must be addressed during IT delivery. Accountable for managing, refining, and sustaining the project backlog to ensure effective execution of enterprise-level initiatives, including strategic projects and business enhancements. Translate project scope into well-defined functional requirements, including product features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, and/or 5 years of experience in a Functional Business Analysis role. Proven ability to perform strong data analysis and proactively identify data issues across core systems and applications. Demonstrated experience in conducting root cause analysis for data-related issues within core systems/applications. Hands-on support for the implementation of proposed resolutions, ensuring data integrity and system reliability. Experience in health insurance or financial services industries. Hands-on experience across all phases of the systems development lifecycle, including Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, and hybrid methodologies. Solid understanding of system design principles, database concepts. Strong analytical mindset and ability to identify and resolve complex issues. Excellent documentation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in creating and maintaining artefacts such as use cases, user stories, and business/technical requirements.
