About the Opportunity Working in the Roving Clinical Operations role, your primary focus is to act as a Clinical Practice Lead and work with the clinical leadership teams within the Homes and networks to deliver sustainable clinical practice improvements. Working side by side on the floor with our Registered Nurses you will be a role model of clinical excellence and teachings. Your portfolio of homes will cover primarily Melbourne's Western and North-Western regions, with occasional travel required across greater Melbourne. Key Responsibilities, Mentor, train and develop less experienced clinical care teams Provide education sessions for clinical and care teams as required Identify clinical and care trends of their residents. Reflect upon and question the rationale of care and treatment plans. Support the implementation of clinical and care improvement plans and projects. Provide a reliable and informed home and network view of clinical quality. Utilise observations, audits and reports to assist in the implementation of improvement plans/outcomes. Analyse and research clinical data, patterns and trends in partnership with the Care Manager and General Manager. Provide feedback on the Quality Management System (QMS) including the reporting functionality through TRAX. Participate in clinical quality best practice and improvement projects. Maintain up to date knowledge of changes to legislation and clinical guidelines. Work with the Learning & Development team to create appropriate learning, development and educational activities About You Min 2yrs experience as a Clinical leader. Proven track record in clinical improvement project delivery. You have extensive clinical practice speciality in complex health care, palliative care and/or dementia. Registered Nurse with experience in mentoring individuals. Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Commitment to continuous learning in self and others and a drive for improvement and best practice. Post graduate certificate/diploma in health-related discipline. Leadership or training qualification.
