The Department The Medical Oncology Unit provides co-ordinated multidisciplinary management for adult patients with malignancies. An important component of this care are the Clinical Trial/Research activities we participate in, which enable us to offer forthcoming and novel investigational treatments to our patients. Alfred Cancer Trials (ACT) conducts phase I, II and III trials, and is a participating member of both National and International Clinical Trials Groups, incorporating both pharmaceutical industry sponsored and investigator driven studies across a wide range of tumour types. The Role This position will coordinate study participants and their treatments according to clinical trial protocols. In your role, you will work on a range of studies for Collaborative and Sponsored trials, in collaboration with a group of experienced Oncology researchers who share knowledge, and assist each other in their project recruitment and management.
