Your New Role We have a 12-month max-term contract opportunity for an experienced Investment Data Enablement Analyst to join the Data Enablement team. This role will support the implementation of solutions related to data acquisition, data mastering and data quality on various data/Investment management platforms, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of data to the investment department and the analytical insight team, as well as operationalising data governance policies and guidelines. Key responsibilities will include; Engage with stakeholders to design and develop investment data products. Collaborate with Business Analysts and other stakeholders to ensure the completeness and accuracy of functional and non-functional requirements, data models, source-to-target mappings, and data quality control definitions. Design data platform components to meet business requirements, encompassing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines, metadata management, and data quality functionalities. Develop and configure data platform components in alignment with business needs, including supporting metadata management within the enterprise data catalogue. Package components and prepare release documentation, including extending and maintaining deployment pipelines. Provide ongoing support for data platform operations including design documentation, BAU issue triage and resolution, and other business readiness activities, including ETL processes and data quality functionalities. What You’ll Need Solid experience in investment management or within an asset owner organisation with demonstrated investment data management capability. Comprehensive experience across multiple asset classes, with a strong understanding of market participants and the asset management business model. Proficiency in defining functional and non-functional requirements, with prior exposure to product management practices. Familiarity with upstream data sources commonly used by asset managers (e.g., custodians, portfolio management systems, data service providers). Strong understanding of data modelling principles and patterns, as well as data platform architecture and design frameworks. Experience with data management standards such as DCAM and DAMA. Hands-on experience with the agile development lifecycle, including the design and implementation of ETL components within a data platform. Ability to collaborate with development teams to review and enhance code quality, and to present technical solutions effectively to stakeholders. Proficiency in data profiling and testing, including the use of test data and execution of unit, integration, acceptance, and performance testing for data platforms. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data platform deployment and maintenance. Strong debugging skills for data platforms and custom Python code, with experience in data observability and monitoring solutions.
