Overview We are working with a rapidly scaling Sydney based company who are uplifting their security function to match rapid growth and increasing production demands. This is a hands on opportunity for an AWS focused Senior Security Engineer who thrives in dynamic product focused environment and wants to shape the future of cloud security. This isn’t a DevOps role with a security twist, it’s a security first engineering position for someone who’s passionate about protecting infrastructure and applications at scale across the whole SDLC. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and contribute directly to the evolution of internal tooling and governance frameworks. Responsibilities Strong experience with AWS security tools (GuardDuty, SecurityHub, Shield) Understanding of vulnerability management tools Experience integrating security tools with EKS Maintenance of security policies and standards for audits & compliance Experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation for IaC Skilled in CSPM & CSWSP solutions Scripting experience with Python/Bash for automation Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience AWS Security experience in a fast paced scale up environment Qualifications Experience with AWS security tools and cloud security engineering Experience in security tooling integration and governance Experience with IaC (Terraform and/or CloudFormation) Automation scripting skills (Python/Bash) What’s in it for you?
