Location: Canberra, ACT Contract: 12 months 2 × 2-month extensions Clearance: NV2 Security Clearance required About the Role our client a leading government agency is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join their Information Management and Technology Division. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to large-scale data migration and cloud transformation initiatives in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases with a focus on high availability and performance. Monitor and optimise database performance using indexing, DVM, and third-party tools. Develop and manage clustering, automated backups, and disaster recovery strategies. Administer security configurations including certificate and access control management. Support and enhance SSAS/SSIS/SSRS and Power BI reporting environments. Troubleshoot hybrid and cloud performance issues across Azure and AWS platforms. Maintain detailed documentation for both on-premises and cloud environments.
