Duty Manager – East Coast Tasmania An exciting opportunity is available for a hands-on Duty Manager to join a well-established beachfront hotel in the stunning East Coast Tasmania region . Start Date: Immediate Contract: Fixed Term until 12th April 2026 (extension possible) Package: $73,000 Annual Salary Super $2,000 Contract Completion Bonus Subsidised Accommodation – $150 per week (shared 2-bedroom staff house onsite) Duties & Responsibilities: Hands-on supervision of bar, bistro, and gaming operations Assisting with bottleshop and front office when required Opening and closing of the venue Counting and balancing tills Assisting with stock control Running the property in the Venue Manager’s absence Supporting other departments as required Candidate Requirements: Strong bar and bistro experience (essential) Previous gaming experience preferred (training available for the right person) Valid RSA & RCG required Ability to obtain Keno Writer/Senior Writer certification if needed Must hold or be able to obtain a current police clearance Reliable, adaptable, and confident supervising across multiple departments Lifestyle & Location: Located on Tasmania’s spectacular East Coast, this role offers the chance to live and work by the ocean in a relaxed regional setting.
