As part of Sydney’s close-knit finance team, you’ll oversee core AP/AR processes, support reporting, and play a key role in shaping the function through this dynamic phase. DUTIES: Accounts Payable: Process high‑volume carrier invoices, reconcile them with shipment records, manage supplier communication, and resolve discrepancies (e.g., pricing, documentation). Accounts Receivable: Create and issue accurate customer invoices, follow up on payments, handle customer billing queries, and support margin-aligned billing processes. Finance Operations & Reporting: Maintain accurate financial data across internal systems. Systems & Process Support: Use platforms like MaxShip and EOS, drive improvements in finance systems and workflows, and support team-wide change initiatives. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Strong preference for candidates with logistics, freight, or supply chain experience 2–4 years in a similar account's role with exposure to both AP and AR Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments Familiarity with Xero is advantageous; experience with MaxShip or EOS systems highly regarded Skills & Attributes: Excellent communication skills are essential you’ll liaise with internal teams and external partners daily High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability Adaptable, proactive, and collaborative Growth mindset eager to learn and contribute to a transforming finance team HOW TO APPLY Lotus People are committed to delivering a great candidate experience.
