Great team and working environment Hands on role where you can apply your passion for greening the world Growing organisation About the role As a Groundsman at Moore Park Golf Club, you will be part of a great team who maintain this golf course to an exceptional standard. This hands-on role will see you upkeeping turf, greens, fairways, tees, bunkers, and surrounding landscapes. Nestled within the world-class Centennial Parklands precinct, your work will contribute toward an exceptional customer experience for those using the site. Responsibilities Perform mowing, trimming, edging, aeration, and other green space management practices to maintain course quality. Maintain bunkers, irrigation systems, and course landscaping, ensuring aesthetic and functional standards. Monitor and control turf health including pest, weed, and disease management practices in line with environmental guidelines. Operate and maintain all relevant machinery and equipment safely, including ride-on mowers, aerators, and irrigation controls. Assist with irrigation scheduling, water usage monitoring, and related audits. Support weekend and event-day preparation and maintenance activities as required. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment condition, and chemical use. Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for self and others. You have a white card, current driver's licence, and you're willing to obtain a working with children check. You take tremendous pride your ability to safely and efficiently operate all the machinery and equipment used on a golf course. Reliable, punctual and with a great can-do attitude, you are a self-motivated person who thrives on maintaining high standards of work. You have strong time management skills coupled with excellent communication skills and you have proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team.
