Desirable engineering degree or similar qualification in construction at least 2 years’ experience in construction keen and positive attitude be reliable and punctual, self-driven and well organized enjoy working as part of a small team Estimator role involves: Managing the tender process, developing tender strategies and risk management. Taking a lead role in tendering and cost planning for a variety of projects. Reviewing request for tenders, design drawings and contractual documentation. Produce detailed take-offs, project programs and cost plans. Stakeholder engagement including liaising with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and design consultants to obtain information and calculate costs. Participate in tender reviews with Senior Management. Preparation and drafting of tender proposals including clearly setting out qualifications and departures. Participate in pre-contract negotiations. Liaising closely with Project Managers. Business development and identifying new tender opportunities. Proficiency with Buildsoft Cubit and Excel preferred.
