About your opportunity: In this position you will: Understand your broad responsibility for safety and quality in healthcare, actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace and notify a relevant clinical or non-clinical responsible officer when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety. To work collaboratively with the Community Health multidisciplinary team in providing quality care, including health promotion, education, health assessments and public health interventions for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals and their communities. Participate in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker Network. Work within the scope of practice of a Generalist Health Worker as specified in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker career structure and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Health Worker scope of practice.
