Our client is a market leader in the Waste and Recycling industries and have observed no downturn in business unlike a number of their competitors – no worrying if you will drop in hours! They are looking for o ngoing Casual to Permanent HR Truck Drivers to join their busy fleet. The Depot is based in Rocklea and has 4 x Driving positions with ASAP starts across Rear Lift and Hook Lift (RORO) Waste/Recycling Trucks. Any HR or above ticketed Drivers that have experience in Waste Trucks or simply have good tenure in a multi-drop HR Delivery role, you will be ideal for this role! Plentiful Overtime is available and continuity of work expected to run 40 hour work week minimum with weekend work such as every Saturday or every Sunday. Most shifts however average 10 hours with some 8 hour shifts in quieter periods. Hook Lift – RORO - Truck Driver Deliver and pickup industrial Skip Bins for Commercial Properties / Businesses – generally a mixture of recycling, packaging, general waste, materials and consumables. If you are an experienced truck driver but you haven't picked up / delivered skips on customer sites - Full Training is provided! Monday to Friday Very Early Day Shift 2am start with 8 hour shifts until the run is done Working every Saturday paid as Overtime - excellent penalty rates! $38.07 - $70.36 per hour ! Rear Lift Truck Driver Pickup and empty plastic bins of general waste - recyclable cans / plastic and glass bottles from businesses. Roll the bin to the back and operate the lifter to tip them in. Monday to Friday for a late Day Shift 11am start 7pm finish (or until the run is done) Working every Sunday paid as Overtime - great penalty rates! $38.07 - $70.36 per hour All Casual Rates are VERY close to the Permanent Rates when converting across. No big drop in rate when going permanent!
