Our client is a leading supplier of mechatronic equipment and solutions to industry throughout Australia. At this time we are looking to employ a well organised Scheduler to coordinate a team of Field Service Technicians and ensure that every Technician is fully equipped for each site visit. As the first respondent to incoming Service calls you will be pivotal to the efficient functioning of your Field Service team and overall client satisfaction experience. On a daily basis your duties will include but not be limited to: Providing prompt and accurate responses to customer & technician calls. Updating customers in real time with any service delays or scheduled changes to visits and/or calls. Accurately logging new service calls and maintaining all jobs in the Service Management System. Ensuring that all jobs are allocated to a Service Technician, have job number assigned and are scheduled efficiently. Assigning and managing the movement of “Rental” equipment. Supporting the field service technicians with spare parts / inventory requests. Ad hoc functions including but not limited to stock movements and freight/dispatch of parts, projects support, etc as and when required. It is envisaged that the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate most or all of the following selection criteria: Previous experience in an industrial Scheduling or Service Coordinator role within a manufacturing or industrial technical services field. You are extremely well organised and can effectively manage multiple conflicting priorities whilst under pressure, yet retain a flexibility to “re-think” a situation when the dynamics change. You display strong customer service skills to both your internal and external customers. You are calm under pressure and possess a strong empathy with the client, yet still manage any unrealistic expectations and pressures imposed on you. You are good with technology and possess accurate data entry skills and an excellent attention to detail. You are well spoken, articulate and have strong literacy and numeracy skills.
