Then you might be in the right place! We’re looking for a Build Engineer to join our development team and keep our build processes running smoothly across PC, mobile, and console platforms. You’ll be responsible for creating and maintaining automated build systems, managing source control, and ensuring our games are always ready to ship (or at least test). Reporting to a producer and working closely with engineers and artists, you’ll be the behind-the-scenes hero who makes sure everyone else can do their job without build-related chaos. This is a full-time position. It is also a hybrid Office/WFH position with 2-3 days per week in our Collins St, Melbourne office (or more if you prefer). About the role: Reporting to a Producer , your responsibilities will include: Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated build pipelines for multiple platforms Managing source control systems, which might include a mix of SVN, Git, and Perforce Maintaining Continuous Integration (CI) tools such as Jenkins Automating test and deployment processes to support rapid iteration Monitoring build health and troubleshooting failures across environments Maintaining build documentation and providing support for build-related issues About you: Experience with build automation and CI tools (Jenkins preferred , TeamCity is a bonus ) Some knowledge of multiple source control systems (SVN, Git, Perforce) Experience working with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) Experience building games for PC, mobile, and console platforms Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Skills in other areas of game dev are a bonus!
