The Role We are seeking a Rail Safety Coordinator – Accreditation & Systems to support the delivery of Webuild’s Rail Safety legislative requirements on the SSTOM project. Reporting to the Rail Safety Director, you will assist with maintaining compliance under the Rail Safety National Law, ensuring effective integration of safety management systems, and supporting accreditation processes. Based at our Elizabeth Drive office in Badgerys Creek, this is an exciting opportunity to work within a Tier 1 joint venture, supporting rail safety governance, compliance, and risk management across a major infrastructure project. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative and technical support to Rail Safety Managers, ensuring compliance with safety accreditation processes and systems. Assist in preparing and maintaining key documentation, including the Safety Accreditation Plan and Safety Management System (SMS). Monitor and support compliance obligations for the Rail Infrastructure Manager (RIM). Enter and maintain rail safety data, including notifiable occurrences, in the ONRSR portal. Collect, analyse, and prepare rail safety statistics, performance data, and reports. Support the scheduling and documentation of rail safety audits and inspections. Contribute to risk mitigation monitoring and promote a positive rail safety culture across the project. About You Tertiary qualifications in Rail Safety, WHS, OHS, or a related discipline. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Rail Safety Coordinator role, preferably within a Tier 1 contractor or large infrastructure project. Strong knowledge of rail safety legislation, systems, and accreditation processes. Experience with rail compliance monitoring and risk mitigation practices. White Card – Construction Induction. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). RIW card (desirable). First Aid & CPR (preferable). Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
