Department for Health and Wellbeing – Public Health – Planning and Response Salary: $98,478 to $104,165 – ASO6 – Full Time / Term Contract up to 3 Years Overview: The Climate Change and Health Project Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating of key projects under the SA Health Climate Change and Health Framework, working in collaboration with the Climate Change Lead. This includes undertaking cross-system engagement, supporting monitoring and reporting requirements under the Premier's Circular PC007, and advancing the strategic goals of the SA Health Climate Change and Health Framework 2025-2030. The role will work directly with the Climate and Health Lead to ensure sustained system-wide progress. The role plans, develops and reviews the successful implementation of project and program indicatives including managing and reporting on project deliverables and resources and provide expert advice and guidance in relation to effective governance projects. The Climate Change and Health Project Officer develops and maintains collaborative working relationships across SA Health to ensure a coordinated approach for the development and implementation of project initiatives that promote a climate-resilient health system.
