Overview Based at Macquarie Park with travel to sites WFH Options. Exciting opportunity to join Catholic Healthcare as a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Business Partner – WHS. You will be part of the HSW team supporting the organisation’s safety strategy, policy and practice, reporting to the HSW Manager and partnering with key stakeholders to promote a strong safety-first culture within a large HR team. Responsibilities Ensure that the highest standards of safety are met across the organisation. Support front line leaders and employees to enable implementation of CHL’s Safety Management System across all levels of the organisation. Facilitate and complete hazard identification activities, operational risk assessments and other compliance activities such as audits. Contribute to the development and implementation of key health, safety and wellbeing initiatives and programs. Assist in the establishment and rollout of key safety initiative education and awareness programs. Complete incident investigations and assist to identify and implement corrective actions. Assist in the rollout and administration of the CHL incident, hazard and risk management database. Note: role includes some travel to Regional NSW. Qualifications Diploma or Cert. IV HSW or significant demonstrated experience in a similar position. Experience in conducting safety inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations. Comprehensive knowledge of WHS Legislation and Codes of Practice. Proficiency with technology, CRMs and Microsoft Suite. Experience in delivering education and training programs. Ability to work autonomously within a team to achieve deadlines and targets. Previous experience within Human Services/Health Care or Aged Care industry — Advantage. Own vehicle and full driver’s licence (kms reimbursed). Willingness to obtain a Police Check. Benefits 7 extra days leave per year and NFP salary packaging.
