Who are we looking for? We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality & Safety professional to join our team. In this role, your key responsibilities will include: Leading and aligning Quality, Safety, and Business Management Systems. Ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies, ISO9001, and other industry certifications. Developing, reviewing, and maintaining SOPs, SOGs, safety documentation, and training materials. Coordinating incident and accident investigations. Supervising the QA & Safety team. Maintaining hazard and risk registers and reporting safety-related data. Conducting audits of maintenance facilities, contractors, and internal systems. Formulating and implementing QA policies to support aviation approvals and certifications. Promoting quality and safety awareness across the company. Travelling domestically and internationally as required. The essential requirements Formal qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent. Proven experience in QA and Safety, preferably in an aviation environment. Team management experience in a Safety & Quality setting. Quality audit qualifications and/or equivalent experience. Strong knowledge of CASA and/or FAA regulations and aviation quality standards. Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills. Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail. Strategic thinking and the ability to align QAS principles with business outcomes. Commercial awareness with the ability to support business objectives. Adaptability, resilience, and a hands-on leadership style.
