Position overview: Estimating / Scoping experience. Producing high quality estimates and quotations for building projects. Ensuring compliance with the State Purchasing Policies, Minor Works, Local instructions and tendering / contract methods; including client requirements. Applicants should have an above average level of computer literacy, communication skills and a background in building construction and maintenance. Proven ability to apply best estimating practices, to interpret, plan and prepare accurate building estimates. Working knowledge of contemporary estimating methods used in the building, construction and maintenance industry, including associated legislative and regulatory requirements. Thorough knowledge of building construction and maintenance legislative and regulatory requirements, principles and practices and contract procedures. Current Workplace Health and Safety General Safety Induction Card.
