Due to continual growth, we are seeking an experienced, proactive Project Manager to oversee specialised water management projects within the mining sector. Based in Canning Vale, this WA-owned and operated business offers a highly supportive and collaborative team culture. Each project involves implementing advanced pumping systems for mine bore field, dewatering, water transfer, and dust suppression, with travel to the Goldfields and Qld regions as required. Key Responsibilities: Act as the primary client liaison, engaging with mine superintendents, managers, and engineers to align project goals with client expectations. Lead project planning, budgeting, and execution phases, overseeing designs, equipment selection, and vendor management. Develop and manage comprehensive project documentation, including installation methodologies, JSA, ITPs, and Factory & Site Acceptance Testing. Coordinate subcontractors for installation and commissioning, upholding timelines and quality benchmarks. Provide regular updates to clients on project progress, scheduling, and completion timelines. Collaborate with administrative and procurement teams for purchase orders, logistics, and mobilisation/demobilisation of installation crews. Key Requirements: Proven project management experience within the underground mining or industrial sectors, ideally with knowledge of water management and pumping systems and/ or Electrical. A proactive, solutions-driven approach with strong problem-solving and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all project phases. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders. Familiarity with safety-conscious work environments and a commitment to sustainable, efficient practices.
