Talent Focus Education , in collaboration with a childcare centre, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Centre Manager to lead their 70-place service. Position Overview: We are looking for a qualified and passionate Centre Manager who will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being, development, and overall success of the childcare centre. The successful candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and in a Director or leadership position within a childcare setting. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the daily operations of the childcare centre, including staff supervision, curriculum development, and facility maintenance. Implement and oversee a developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages effective communication among staff, parents, and children. Ensure strict adherence to state and local licensing regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all children. Develop and manage the centre's budget, optimising resource allocation. Recruit, train, and mentor staff, offering ongoing professional development opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, addressing their concerns and providing regular updates on their child’s progress. Drive initiatives to increase occupancy levels and community engagement. Collaborate with the executive team to set and achieve growth and quality improvement objectives. Qualifications: Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Bachelor’s of Early Childhood, or an equivalent qualification. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Director or leadership role within a childcare centre. Profound knowledge of early childhood development and best practices in childcare. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. Familiarity with local and state childcare regulations and licensing requirements. Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). A strong passion for delivering high-quality early childhood education and care.
