This is a unique opportunity to foster creativity, emotional growth, and a love of learning through engaging, play-based experiences. The focus is on connection, creativity, and curiosity – not worksheets and whiteboards. These bright and energetic children love imaginative play and hands-on learning. Their interests include drawing, Lego, Minecraft, and animals, playing outdoors in their fairy garden, cooking and creating in the kitchen, riding scooters and playing totem tennis. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, proactive, and confident in planning play-based learning experiences that build on the children’s natural interests. We are particularly looking for someone who can gently support emotional development and social understanding, Identifying and verbalizing the children’s emotions. Recognizing the feelings of others. Helping the children to develop skills in extending focus, concentration, and task engagement. You must: - Have obtained or are working towards your Certificate/Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care OR have a Bachelor teaching degree (early years or primary) and registered with the teaching authority board of the relevant state - Be an experienced child care worker with at least 3 professional references. - Have WWCC, Police Check, CPR and Level 2 First Aid - Have a car & driver's licence - Be willing to commit for at least 12 months - Full working rights in Australia.
