Mk2 Recruitment are seeking Qualified Industrial Electricians to join a major large-scale renewable energy project. This long-term role is critical to supporting the installation, commissioning and maintenance of high-capacity renewable fuel storage systems, contributing to Australia’s clean energy future and grid stability. Key Responsibilities: Install, terminate, and test electrical cables, conduit, panels, switchgear, inverters, transformers and battery systems. Carry out electrical work in accordance with project specifications, national electrical codes and safety standards. Perform preventative maintenance and fault finding on high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical equipment, including battery modules, inverters, and control systems. Read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams and technical manuals. Assist in the commissioning and decommissioning of battery energy storage systems. Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other trades to ensure timely and accurate execution of work. Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests and maintenance work using digital and paper documentation systems. Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies. Participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings and ongoing training. About You: Hold a Construction White Card. Minimum 3 years experience in industrial electrical work (renewable energy or BESS experience highly regarded). Current Driver’s Licence. Ability to read and interpret construction plans. Able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening.
