The Content Advisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring that data and content across the NSW Planning Portal and affiliated sites are accurate, accessible, and effectively managed to support planners and optimise business outcomes. This includes creating and updating web pages and working with different teams to share important documents. The Content Advisor must translate complex technical information into clear, plain English, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and use a content management system to publish website content. This role requires a proactive, collaborative approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience managing consultations and negotiations across diverse internal groups with varying expectations and interests. Demonstrated capacity to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality outcomes while coordinating multiple, often complex, projects simultaneously. Sound decision-making skills, with the ability to set priorities, operate within legislative and regulatory frameworks, and escalate issues appropriately. Advanced communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively within teams and across business units to achieve shared goals. Proficiency in using technology and digital platforms to maximise efficiency, manage data, and support business objectives. Essential requirements Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or experience in one or more of the following areas: website content management, digital publishing, communications.
