About Your New Role We are seeking an experienced Business Relationship Manager to join the Enterprise Architecture team. In this role, you will act as the key link between business areas and ICT/Data services, building strong partnerships, identifying business needs, and ensuring ICT solutions align with strategic and digital objectives. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of water sustainability by supporting initiatives that balance the needs of communities, industry, and the environment across one of Australia's largest river systems. You will partner closely with stakeholders across the organisation, supporting strategic planning, translating business requirements into ICT solutions, and ensuring ICT initiatives deliver measurable value. Location: Brisbane Contract: 12 months 2 extensions Clearance: Baseline or above Start Date: Monday, 20 October 2025 Key Responsibilities Partner and collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and challenges Serve as a liaison to support effective communication between business units and ICT/Data services. Maintain knowledge of business processes and identify ICT improvement opportunities. Work to resolve complex IT issues and negotiate fit-for-purpose solutions. Support business and IT strategic planning, particularly digital strategy development and execution Help plan and prioritise ICT projects to align with business needs. Translate business requirements into actionable tasks for ICT teams. Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and manage expectations. Proactively identify and address potential risks or issues. Lead workshops and meetings to gather requirements and share updates. Measure and report on ICT activities and their impact on business objectives. Represent the organisation at internal and external ICT and enterprise architecture forums. Strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels (executives, ICT teams, vendors). Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical audiences. Excellent written skills, with the ability to prepare professional documentation tailored to diverse stakeholders. Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to align ICT initiatives to business objectives and anticipate future opportunities.
