About the Opportunities We’re on the hunt for high-performing team members to deliver cutting-edge Cyber Range capability to the Australian Defence Force (ADF). We are seeking experienced professionals for multiple roles to support the design, development, deployment, and sustainment of cyber training environments, and participate in cyber exercise planning and development for collective and joint exercises. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to national cyber resilience through immersive simulation, exercise planning, and technical delivery. Roles may involve: Design and build virtualised cyber terrain using VMware, Hyper-V, and cloud platforms Develop and maintain simulated environments for individual, collective, and joint cyber exercises Integrate Blue/Red/Grey space components to support realistic training scenarios. Collaborate with Defence stakeholders to scope, plan, and deliver tailored cyber range solutions Support live cyber exercises , including troubleshooting, range sustainment, and inject delivery Produce technical documentation, run sheets, and system diagrams for repeatable deployments Lead or contribute to the development of Cyber Exercise Lifecycles (CELC) and training artefacts. Manage network architecture, system hardening, and endpoint protection tools within range environments. Essential Skills & Experience Proven experience in Cyber Range operations , simulation, or exercise planning Strong background in network and systems administration (Windows Server, Linux, AD, GPO, SCCM) Familiarity with Defence ICT environments , including classified networks and simulation platforms Hands-on experience with virtualisation technologies , scripting, and cyber security tools Ability to work in high-tempo, mission-critical environments with multidisciplinary teams Excellent stakeholder engagement and technical documentation skills Qualifications SANS Cyber Courses (Level 4 and above) Bachelor of Computer Science/ICT Cyber or equivalent certifications These positions are predominantly Canberra-based. Working remotely is role dependent, will require client approval and can be discussed in interview. Roles require Australian citizenship and an active NV2 security clearance.
