The Opportunity With constant growth and upcoming projects, this Queensland based civil contractor is looking for a HSEQ Manager to join their team. This company works in both the private and public sectors and their success is reinforced by the quality and expertise of their staff, collaborative approach to business and their skill at providing cost-effective, practical solutions to civil construction challenges. Role Based in Townsville, this role would suit a HSEQ Manager who has a background working in the civil construction space. In this role, you will be liaising with staff, subcontractors and clients as required. You will complement the existing on-site team with your extensive safety background, communication skills and enthusiasm. As a HSEQ Manager, you will Develop and continuously enhance the safety culture through the delivery of risk-based safety strategies; Provide regular safety advice and direction to site staff; Manage the safety system and associated reporting; Design, manage and implement risk-based strategies, including on-going improvement of task observation tools, techniques and methodologies.
