Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Management Accountant will be responsible for preparing weekly and monthly management reporting to operational and finance managers and provide insightful analysis regarding the profitability of projects, business units and the over group. Key Responsibilities: Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, providing financial and analytical support. Support monthly management reporting in Workday, including project revenue recognition, financial performance reporting, and Board/Senior Management packs. Support management to understand the financial performance, revenue/cost drivers, and monthly variance analysis. Drive continuous improvement in management and operational reporting. Prepare regular and ad hoc financial and KPI reports with insightful analysis. Identify business trends, assess impacts, and recommend actions. Analyse data from multiple sources to highlight key business drivers and commercial impacts. Assist the Group Financial Controller and Commercial Manager with the Annual Budget process for the Group. Assist in the preparation of quarterly reforecasting for the Group. Skills & Attributes: CA/CPA student or qualified, or similar. Experience in Engineering services and/or mining, minerals or energy sectors (advantageous) Workday systems experience (advantageous) Strong technical accounting and commercial acumen Advanced Excel skills Proactive, curious, and takes initiative Strong communication skills Critical and analytical thinking We are Agile This allows us to be light on our feet and progressive as we don’t get bogged down in bureaucracy.
