Overview Quality Officer role at Alfred Health . Responsibilities Coordinate, implement and evaluate all aspects of the SPS Quality Management System, quality improvement, quality assurance and accreditation related activities at Western Health (WH). Ensure WH laboratories, point-of-care (POC) sites and collection centres comply with ISO 15189 and all other accreditation requirements (including NATA, NPAAC, NSQHS, RCPA, TGA guidelines) and relevant legislative and organisational quality frameworks. About You / Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in science, Applied Science (Medical Laboratory Scientist) or recognised equivalent. Post-graduate training or qualifications in quality management. Experience And Skills At least 5 years of pathology laboratory scientist experience and/or extensive experience in a quality role within human pathology. Extensive experience using quality management software (e.g., IQM/FQPulse, FastTrack, RiskMan or similar). Understanding of ISO 15189, NATA and NPAAC guidelines. Strong organisational and communication skills; excellent attention to detail; ability to work well in a team environment. Position Details Permanent - Full Time at 80 hrs per fortnight (with monthly ADOs). Salary: Grade 3 Medical Scientist: $108,820.40-$123,905.60 Superannuation.
