Role The Solution Architect is responsible for the development of the technology solutions and mapping the business requirements to systems/technical requirements to ensure they are in line with the enterprise architectural plan. Responsibilities Effectively collaborate to address the concerns of all stakeholders, including the immediate team, enterprise architecture, and business, and deliver fit-for-purpose, robust solutions. Understand business requirements to develop complex engineering solutions across multiple infrastructure technologies (on-premises & cloud). Present and build support for proposed solutions with our business and senior IT stakeholders. Work with other architects to develop a top-down services functional view to deliver an integrated solution. Work with project teams to develop solution design to realise solution architecture into delivery solution. Develop solution architecture, solution design and other artefacts and present in appropriate architecture forums. Lead discussions with Business and Technology stakeholders to develop and communicate the Solution Vision and Roadmap. Create solution vision, work with stakeholders to gather needs and requirements. Develop solution intent which captures and documents fixed and variable solution level behaviours. Work with business stakeholders to interact with suppliers to ensure that requirements on their delivered capabilities are understood. Work closely with our dev/ops and core infrastructure services teams to deliver innovative solutions within an agile environment. Experience in architecture domains Experience in one or more of the following: Security, Business, Information/Data, Application. Required skills and experience Essential Criteria Minimum 5 years of experience working across IT environments in an application design or development role. Extensive experience developing solution architecture for the Microsoft D365 capability. Desirable Criteria Certifications in TOGAF 9, COBIT 5 Foundation, SAFe, Scrum and/or ITIL v3 Foundation are desirable. Minimum 5 years of experience working across IT environments in an application design or development role. Extensive experience developing solution architecture for the Microsoft D365 capability. Ability to lean in as the technical lead supporting the implementation and monitoring of the solution as it is developed by developers. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Strong understanding of information processing principles and practices. Demonstrated experience in application and system design and development. Demonstrated experience in designing solutions under AGILE frameworks. Demonstrated experience in facilitation of workshops involving a range of participants including senior management, technical staff and business users. Sound knowledge of architecture frameworks and enterprise design tools, Enterprise Architect (experience desirable). At least 5 years recent experience with Power Platform, D365, Azure Application and Integration Services (60%). Experience working in an agile software development team. (20%). Experience working within large-scale / enterprise environment (20%).
