Overview Take the reins at Charleville School of Distance Education, 750km west of Brisbane, serving 166 students from Prep to Year 10. A distance education community in the heart of Western Queensland. We are seeking an experienced educational leader ready to inspire staff, connect with families, and drive school-wide improvement focused on innovation, high-quality teaching, inclusive practices, and strong community partnerships. This position is available for Term 1, 2026 with possible extension. This is a temporary full-time position to commence from 22 January 2026 until 02 April 2026, with possibility of extension, unless otherwise determined. About The Role As the Principal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Drive a shared vision that achieves strong student outcomes. Provide ethical, strategic leadership across the school. Embed inclusive, socially just practices. Set and maintain high standards for students and staff. Build partnerships with parents, agencies, and the community. Lead professional growth and oversee school operations.
