The About Our client, based in the scenic Perth Hills, is seeking a trade-qualified Heavy Duty Workshop Mechanic to join their experienced maintenance team. This is a hands-on position where you’ll be responsible for the servicing, repair, and ongoing maintenance of a wide variety of mobile and fixed plant equipment. The site operates a large and varied fleet of over 100 assets, offering you exposure to multiple types of machinery. The fleet includes light vehicles, heavy trucks, earthmoving machinery, tractors, fire appliances, and a broad range of small plant such as chainsaws, blowers, and line trimmers. This role offers plenty of variety and a dynamic work environment. You'll be part of a supportive and safety-focused team, contributing to the reliable and efficient operation of all plant and equipment across the business. The Tasks Ahead: Carry out scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance, and breakdown repairs across a wide range of equipment. Diagnose mechanical faults and perform repairs on light vehicles, heavy trucks, earthmoving plant, and small equipment. Ensure all plant and equipment is maintained in safe working condition in line with manufacturer specifications and company standards. Complete service documentation, maintenance records, and work orders. Operate workshop plant and equipment safely and in accordance with relevant procedures. About You: Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic HR (Heavy Rigid) Licence LF Forklift Licence Proven experience maintaining a broad range of equipment including light vehicles, heavy plant, and small machinery Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Commitment to safe work practices The Benefits: 9 day fortnight roster Permanent full-time opportunity for the right candidate $55.69/hr PLEASE NOTE.
