The position involves walking across residential and commercial areas to record accurate water meter data and supporting associated administrative and monitoring tasks. Location : Townsville Employment Type : Temporary (until 31 Oct 2025) Pay Rate : $34 to $36 per hour Work Hours : Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 3:15pm (36.25 hours per week) Key Responsibilities Perform meter readings across properties in Townsville, ensuring accurate data collection and verification of meter details and conditions Rotate between residential and commercial routes. Support investigations related to meter accuracy and potential water theft Provide courteous support to the public during field interactions Access meters by foot within assigned suburbs and input data using a handheld device Key Requirements Current QLD “C” Class Driver’s Licence.
