Prime Build is a multidisciplinary commercial construction company with experience in a wide range of industry sectors. Specialising in live environment construction, fit out & refurbishment in retail, education, Industrial, government & institutional sectors. ROLLOUT, a subsidiary of Prime Build, was established in 2020 as a specialist division providing a tailored partnering approach to nationally operating clients with roll-out requirements for large scale that require project management, design and construction multi-site programmes. About the role: · Review and analyse tender documentation for completeness. · Take off of Structural and Architectural trades in accordance with best practice. · Manage sub-contractor quoting of tenders and vet quotes and fee proposals. · Generate sub-contractor comparison for each tender. · Issue documentation to relevant sub-contractors, suppliers and consultants. · Work with a wider team to ensure non-price tendering elements comply with tender documentation. · Understand requirements across design, PM and construction resourcing for national and local programmes of works · Assist or lead bid team in creation of tender submission documents · Attend site inspections, and tender interviews on behalf of Rollout Group. · Manage the Post Tender and Negotiation phase of each tender. · Lead the tender handover procedure with our delivery teams. · Understanding of services and sub-contractor allowances typical for each service. · Operate within all estimating procedures, systems and policies for tendering. · Report the financial aspects & technical reviews of tenders, including evaluation of subcontractor and supplier quotations. · Establish and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders and work with them to facilitate and implement cost engineering activities. · Maintain awareness of changes to projects and ensure all associated costs are identified and tracked against the budget About you: · 2 years estimating experience in retail refurbishments generally, and supermarkets specifically, along with national programmes of work essential. · Previous successful tendering of multi-site programmes of works inclusive of project management, design and construction delivery · Solid understanding of research methodology, data analysis and estimation metrics. · Strong knowledge of relevant computer-based software (e.g. CostX, Buildsoft, EstimateOne, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office). · Proven ability to tender on multiple projects simultaneously and respond flexibly to changing requirements and deadlines. · Confidence in your ability to read and interpret project plans. · Excellent communication and negotiation skills. · Experience in putting together submission response documents for tender · High level of attention to detail, with strong time management and organisational skills. · To succeed in this role, you will be a strong communicator with previous experience in retail refurbishment, ideally as part of programs of works. · Australian resident qualified to work in Australia What We Offer Competitive salary package and benefits Opportunity to deliver landmark projects with high-profile clients Supportive leadership team that values collaboration and innovation Professional development and clear pathways for career advancement A strong, positive culture where hard work is recognised and rewarded.
