To succeed in this role, you must have prior experience using ratchet straps, chains, and binders and on a daily basis, as well as experience with transport manifests. Your skills will directly contribute to the smooth operation of our business, making a real impact on our overall success. Key Responsibilities: Operating various sized counterbalance forklifts (2.5T, 7T and 16T) Processing various types of general freight from beginning to end (palletised, ugly and oversize) Secure and restrain all loads as per the load restraint guide, with ratchet straps, chains and binders Ensuring all scanning is accurate and complete for freight in the received, loaded, staged and unloaded functions Preparation of outgoing freight ensuring that goods are secured and packed correctly for dispatch Leading a small team of Freight Officer Skills and Experience: Current Forklift Licence (LF) A strong knowledge base in transport and logistics. Experience with general ugly/oversize freight Expert in load restraints using ratchet straps, chains and binders Ability to lead, direct and supervise a small team Preferred scanning experience Why Join Centurion?
