We require a Supply and Distribution: Procurement Specialist to join our team in Kwinana, WA. Duties and responsibilities include : Determining, implementing and monitoring purchasing, storage and import strategies for raw materials, parts and services; Create and implement local policies and procedures relating to supply chain activities undertaken for and by Kwinana site; Preparing and implementing procurement plans to maintain required stock levels at best cost to the business; Negotiating contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements; Monitoring and reviewing storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levels to agreed regional targets; Operating recording systems to track all movements of supplies and finished goods, and ensuring re-ordering and re-stocking at optimal times; Overseeing the recording of purchase, storage and distribution transactions; Directing team members in their activities and supporting their performance and professional development; Provision of products and services to meet customer or client requirements. To be considered you will need a level of skill commensurate with a relevant bachelor degree or higher qualification and at least 3 years of relevant post-qualification employment experience OR at least 5 years of relevant employment experience is required.
