Job Title Superintendent Supply and Procurement Job Roster Corporate role with regular site travel Job Summary Job Statement We are now seeking a Procurement & Supply Superintendent to lead the efficient and effective management of inbound supply chain activities, encompassing purchasing, inventory management, warehousing and freight logistics required for Genesis operations. In addition, you will be responsible for supporting uninterrupted production and contributing to overall business objectives through effective leadership, security of supply and driving ongoing improvement initiatives The Opportunity: Lead and oversee procure-to-pay process, ensuring all purchasing activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards, and represent the best value for the business. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to direct reports, ensuring they are adequately equipped, knowledgeable, and able to carry out respective job requirements to meet objectives. Be accountable for cost reductions and optimisation initiatives relating to freight, warehousing and inventory. Monitor and evaluate goods supplier performance, addressing any issues to ensure continuous improvement in service delivery, and a reduction in expediting and overdue order management processes. Ensure accurate records of all procurement activities, including supplier information, agreements, and purchase orders are maintained and support any auditing activities related to procure-to-pay. Lead inventory obsolescence programs and work with site operations to implement strategies to reduce and manage slow moving inventory Identify and mitigate potential risks in the material supply chain, including supply disruptions, lead time changes and quality issue, ensuring continuity of supply. Management of rotables and other repairables Development and review of supply related policies and procedures Drive standardisation of warehouse practices across all sites Planning and establishment of new warehouses. Provide ongoing guidance and training to site warehouse teams to enhance operational capabilities and improve overall performance What you can expect from us: A caring and supportive culture. We’re excited to hear from you if you have: Tertiary Qualification in Purchasing, Procurement or Supply Chain Management Significant demonstrated experience in Procurement, Inventory, or Warehousing and Logistics discipline Sound demonstrated relevant experience in a leadership role, with proven ability to manage and develop a team Demonstrated ability to implement procure-to-pay processes and manage supplier relationships effectively Excellent knowledge of end-to-end supply management processes Extensive inventory management experience, including the management of rotable and repairable goods. Capability to multi-task, self-manage and self-motivate Experience using Pronto (preferred) and/or equivalent ERP systems.
