At CRCS, we’re looking for a caring and energetic Playgroup Assistant to help deliver engaging playgroups for families with children aged 0–5 across the ACT and Capital Region. The position engages with the community and supports the development of new playgroups as required. The position will assist the Playgroup Facilitator and Family Foundations team with the planning, promotion, administration and delivery/facilitation of playgroups across the Capital Region. The position is permanent part time working up to 30 hours per week. What you’ll do: Support our Playgroup Facilitator to run vibrant, child-centered playgroups Help with planning, set-up and pack-up of sessions Build connections with families and the community Ensure safe, inclusive and fun spaces for children to thrive What we’re looking for: A warm, positive and flexible team player Experience working with children and families Minimum Certificate II in Early Childhood, Community Services or related field A genuine passion for creating inclusive, supportive communities CRCS is committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all young children and young people.
