Senior Accountant – Sunshine Coast Looking to step up into a role where you can manage your own clients, build strong relationships, and take ownership of your work? This established boutique accounting firm on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. You’ll be trusted to run your own portfolio, combining compliance responsibilities with hands-on business advisory. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys direct client interaction, has solid technical skills, and thrives in a supportive and flexible environment. Key Responsibilities: Preparation and review of financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals Division 7A, CGT & FBT calculations. Manage a portfolio of clients, providing high-level tax and business advice Build and maintain strong client relationships Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and standards What’s on offer: Direct client contact and autonomy over your portfolio Mix of compliance and advisory work Supportive team culture with opportunities to grow Onsite parking for convenience Flexibility and some WFH options (after probation) About You: 5 Years Accounting experience CA/CPA qualified (or working towards) Strong background in compliance and tax for SMEs Confident communicator who enjoys client interaction Solid technical skills and ability to work independently Self-motivated, with the ability to manage deadlines in a remote/hybrid environment Experience with Xero, MYOB, and cloud-based tools preferred Ready to Make an Impact?
