Hiring: EL1 Network Architect — Federal Government (Hybrid, Australia-wide) 12-month contract! We’re seeking a senior/principal Network Architect to lead the evolution of a large federal environment—secure, scalable, resilient, and future-ready. Hybrid role, open to candidates in all Australian states and territories. Must have: Australian citizenship and ability to obtain Baseline security clearance Police check post–work order Availability to start ~3 weeks after the work order (Monday, 24 November 2025) What you’ll do: Validate provider high-level designs and shape hybrid network architecture Align network strategy with organisational goals; advise on transformation and emerging tech Lead architecture reviews and gap analyses; define remediation Act as design authority (best practice, compliance, privacy, ATO requirements) Oversee technology and provider evaluations; ensure governance-grade documentation Mentor in-house engineers and uplift capability About you: 10 years in enterprise networking, including 7 years in senior architecture roles Proven large-scale design/transform/implementation (enterprise or MSP) Depth across core protocols, data centres, cloud networking, security and segmentation Strong automation and monitoring knowledge Excellent stakeholder communication; relevant certifications desirable How to apply: Reach out to keyaccounts@nbridge.com.au with your updated CV
