About the Role MSS Security is seeking a skilled Security Officer and Control Room Operator to join our team at a high-profile government site in Docklands. This dual role requires a current NV1 Clearance and offers a rare opportunity to play a key role in safeguarding a prestigious government facility. You'll be responsible for both on site security duties and control room operations, including monitoring surveillance systems, responding to incidents, and maintaining the safety of the site and its personnel. The position offers a Level 4 pay rate of $28.86 per hour, plus super and shift penalties where applicable Duties include but are not limited to: Monitor CCTV systems and alarms to ensure constant surveillance and early detection of any security risks. Conduct physical patrols and security checks to identify potential threats. Liaise with emergency services and site personnel to coordinate incident responses. Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of daily operations. Provide a high level of customer service and clear communication. Requirements: Must hold a current NV1 clearance to be considered for this role. Valid Victorian Security licence with control room subcategory and certificate II (or higher) in Security Operations. Valid Victorian Drivers licence, Working with Children Check and current First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain). Strong computer skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Excellent communication skills. Proven experience working in security. Availability to work a rotating 24/7 roster.
