Job Summary: As a Senior Legal Counsel in the legal team, you will primarily be supporting and working with the HUB24 platform and distribution business relating to superannuation, managed investment schemes, IDPS, IDPS-Like and managed discretionary account products. We are looking for someone who thrives off a collaborative environment, has high level technical skills combined with commercial acumen. This role will partner with commercial stakeholders at all levels and work with them to provide sound legal advice and guidance. Responsibilities: Draft and review disclosure documents (e.g. PDSs, FSGs, TMDs, application forms) Support product development, including terms & conditions and structuring Conduct website and client communication reviews for compliance Assist with business integrations and transitions to HUB24 products Review, draft, and negotiate a range of commercial contracts Provide advice on conflicted remuneration, fee disclosure, and distribution arrangements Contribute to transactional work including joint ventures and strategic partnerships Provide legal advice on regulatory frameworks including Corporations Act (Ch 7), AML, Privacy, and ACCC matters Manage relationships with external legal service providers Review and draft board papers and formal presentations Requirements: Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification legal experience in financial services, with a focus on superannuation, investments, and corporate law Background in a top-tier or mid-tier law firm highly regarded Strong understanding of financial services regulation and retail client environments Strong technical, commercial, and influencing skills Adaptable and confident working across unfamiliar products, issues, and legislation Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality outcomes Excellent time management and attention to detail The Recruitment Process Acknowledgement email once your application has been submitted.
